**Job Overview**

We are seeking a seasoned technical leader to join our team as a Solutions Architect.

This role requires expertise in designing and implementing scalable integration architectures, providing technical guidance to customers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering or architecture, strong background in API architecture, and hands-on experience with backend development in Java, Python, or Node.js.

The Solutions Architect will be responsible for:

  • Designing and architecting scalable solutions that handle high-scale transactions
  • Providing technical guidance to customers on API best practices, data flow architecture, and integration strategies
  • Developing proof-of-concept integrations and demonstrating Fastn's capabilities
  • Optimizing solutions for scalability and performance
  • Assisting customers in leveraging Fastn's APIs, AI-powered automation, and smart connectivity features
  • Ensuring security and compliance through best practices for API security, authentication, and compliance

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering or architecture
  • Strong background in API architecture, RESTful & GraphQL APIs, and event-driven integrations
  • Hands-on experience with backend development in Java, Python, or Node.js
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and serverless architectures
  • Knowledge of API authentication, security best practices (OAuth, JWT, OpenID), and compliance (SOC 2, GDPR, etc.)
  • Experience designing solutions that handle high-scale, low-latency transactions
  • Familiarity with iPaaS platforms (Mulesoft, Workato, Tray.io, etc.) and automation workflows
