About this position:

HR Ways is seeking an experienced API Integration Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing REST and SOAP API integrations using Talend ESB or Talend Data Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement API-based integrations using Talend (ESB/Data Services).

  • Develop, configure, and deploy REST/SOAP web services.

  • Integrate with third-party systems (payment gateways, banking platforms, KYC/AML providers, etc.).

  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather integration requirements.

  • Ensure secure data exchange, proper authentication (OAuth2, Basic Auth, etc.), and data mapping.

  • Handle exception management, logging, and monitoring of integrations.

  • Support the deployment and lifecycle management of APIs in QA and production environments.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have hands-on experience with Talend ESB, Talend Data Services, or Talend Studio for API Services, as well as strong knowledge of API development, integration patterns, and web service protocols (REST, SOAP). Proficiency in JSON, XML, and API schema definitions (WSDL, OpenAPI/Swagger) is also essential.

Experience and Expertise:

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in banking, FinTech, or Financial Services integrations, as well as familiarity with standards such as ISO 20022, SWIFT, Open Banking APIs, or Mobile Money APIs.
