Junior Android Developer Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Junior Android Developer to join our mobile application development team.

  • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Java and/or Kotlin programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Work with outside data sources and APIs to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong Java skills, knowledge of MVVM and MVP design paradigms, and experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.

In addition to technical expertise, we are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills who can effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong Java skills with ability to work with concepts introduced in Java 8.
  • Kotlin programming language is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQLite and any ORM based adaptation on top of it is a plus.
  • Sound fundamental Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
  • Experience with Sonarcube integrations.
  • Fundamentally sound in using Git/Gitlab.
  • Agile background.

  • Third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Full mobile development life cycle.
