Backend Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious professional to lead our Backend team.

  • Define a technology vision for building new product features that prioritize fleet & driver safety.
  • Manage the strategic direction and execution of engineering teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Develop a long-term product roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Lead technical design discussions to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Drive the launch and daily operations of functionalities at high quality, meeting customer expectations.
  • Introduce and evolve cutting-edge development processes, staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and coaching to engineers, fostering growth and development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related domains, with 3+ years of management experience.
  • Proven track record of managing large teams, driving results, and delivering high-quality products.
  • Experience working with high-throughput and low-latency systems, distributed architecture, and cloud computing.
  • Technical expertise in agile product development, infrastructure, build tools, front-end engineering, mobile, and QA.
  • Able to perform architectural work, own the full software lifecycle, and drive continuous experimentation and learning.
  • Demonstrated success in hiring, motivating, and promoting skilled engineers, fostering a positive work environment.
