Job Title: Strategic Business Expansion Lead

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the expansion of local payment and fund channels in Pakistan. This role aims to integrate local banks and e-wallets, facilitating exchange routes between the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) and USDT for efficient fund flow.

This position requires a thorough understanding of the local financial environment, including payment service providers (PSPs), banks, and exchange channels. The successful candidate must be capable of independently initiating partnerships, executing integration, and coordinating both technical and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish strategic partnerships with local banks and e-wallet providers through effective negotiation and relationship management.
  • Analyze the Pakistani payment landscape, identifying customer demand, regulatory trends, competitors, and potential risks to inform localized payment product strategies.
  • Design and implement optimized market entry and operational approaches for Pakistan's payment industry.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and legal advisors to ensure compliance with local laws and industry standards.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in finance, economics, marketing, or related fields. A minimum of 1 year of experience in the payments industry, familiarity with the Pakistani market, and direct access to or working relationships with local banks and e-wallet providers are essential. Fluency in Urdu and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills, is also required.
