Overview:

The role of a Library Assistant is to support the efficient operation of the library by performing a variety of tasks. These include circulating library materials, creating metadata, verifying received materials, and maintaining electronic records.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, literature searching abilities, technical knowledge of libraries, and problem-solving capabilities.

The Library Assistant will work closely with other team members to achieve common goals, demonstrating a customer-centric approach, accountability, and responsibility, as well as creativity, diplomacy, and effective communication skills.

This role requires a Master's degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) or a Bachelor's degree in Information Management with a CGPA of 3.0 and above. Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply.
