E-commerce Functional Tester

Description: We're seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Functional Tester / Analyst to join our e-commerce team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our diverse e-commerce websites built on Shopify, Magento, and WooCommerce platforms.
Responsibilities include performing daily functional testing of our websites across multiple platforms, conducting daily checks on key performance indicators such as page load times and responsiveness, verifying product availability and accurate inventory display, and assessing product categories to ensure they are populated with the correct number of products.
Additional Responsibilities include executing comprehensive testing of the customer purchase funnel from browsing and adding items to the cart through checkout and order confirmation, identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in website functionality and performance, collaborating closely with development, design, and product teams to communicate testing findings, and providing analytical feedback on website usability and potential areas for improvement within the user flow.
Key Qualifications include proven experience in functional testing, quality assurance, or a related role, preferably within an e-commerce environment, familiarity with testing websites built on platforms like Shopify, Magento, and WooCommerce, experience with manual testing techniques and methodologies, and strong understanding of the typical e-commerce customer journey and purchase funnel.
