Research Policy Leader Job Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our research policy development and implementation efforts. This individual will work closely with various stakeholders to enhance the research activities of the university and drive innovation.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of research commercialization and be able to develop strategies to monetize royalty streams from licenses. They will also be responsible for managing the operational aspects of the ORIC and collaborating with other departments to achieve research goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop research policies and priorities that align with the university's strategic objectives
  2. Mobilize faculty, business community, and industry for research commercialization efforts
  3. Serve as an effective advocate for research with the university and its broader community of stakeholders and supporters
Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should have a PhD with expertise in research and at least 10 years of relevant experience. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this position.
