Software Engineering Specialist

A leading online marketplace is hiring a software engineering specialist to develop scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain large-scale software systems using backend frameworks like Laravel, Node.js, or similar technologies.
  • Apply SOLID principles and clean architecture practices throughout all layers of development.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs with robust security features, including authentication and authorization.
  • Optimize code for performance and scalability on both the backend and frontend.
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
  • Utilize cloud services like AWS to build resilient and scalable cloud-native systems.
  • Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to improving engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical design, planning, and delivery.
  • Implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines and monitoring tools for reliable deployments and performance tracking.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on backend development.
  • Proficiency in PHP/Laravel, Node.js, or Python for backend development.
  • Deep understanding of SOLID principles, system design, and scalable architecture.
  • Proven experience building complex applications at scale.
  • Strong command of AWS services and infrastructure design.
  • Proficiency with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Git workflows, and containerized environments.
