Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise SharePoint Solutions Architect to join our team at JRS Technologies. As a key member of our technology department, you will play a crucial role in providing lead support to field sales for Software and Services opportunities in the area of Office 365 and SharePoint.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience of delivering SharePoint solutions preferably in SharePoint 20xx (On Premise) or particularly versions above. You will be responsible for setting up additional SharePoint sites, creating/editing list and library-driven SharePoint web-part pages, and managing application deployment, training, and support projects.

  • Setup additional SharePoint sites and Creation/editing of list and library-driven SharePoint web-part pages, pages containing static HTML content
  • Manage application deployment, training and support projects for the technology department so that they are implemented in line with the needs of the business and its current goals prioritized to deliver the greatest value to the business
  • Provide input to the strategic planning process and plan the tactics for the implementation to meet established business goals
  • Establish vision and goals for managed software that ties with overall Company direction
  • Migrate current SharePoint instances and shared-drive environment into a single consolidated SharePoint instance where feasible
  • Assist in the creation of prototypes, POCs, presentations, collateral
  • Act as the lead Architect in working with Client staff and its contractors to carry out the Solution Architecture, and Platform (on-premises, cloud and/or hybrid) optimization function and drive SharePoint user adoption
  • Work with Client Program areas and solution team to drive the SharePoint based solution implementation
  • Work with Client SMEs and other stakeholders to validate the high-level intersystem view and to define, document, and validate high-level business requirements and associated business processes (capture in Microsoft Visio)
  • Participate in joint application development sessions with Client SMEs to develop and document detailed functional business requirements
