Financial Management and Accounting Expert

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in managing financial systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient management of financial resources.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Manage cash flow and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor finance staff to ensure optimal financial support and develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinate financial activities with partners and collaborators to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Review financial reports due to donors and stakeholders, and prepare payroll and payment requests.
  • Analyze variances and identify opportunities for improvement in financial management processes.
  • Implement country-wide ERP software and manage fund requirements for projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in finance and accounting, preferably in an international organization.
  • Proven supervisory, analytical, and accuracy skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of budget planning, financial management, and auditing principles.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to adapt to changing priorities.
