Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust, scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.
  • Architect and optimize SQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures for performance and reliability.
  • Lead the development of new features, from conception to deployment.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Implement security and data protection measures.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the application stack.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency and application performance.
  • Participate in agile development processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
  • Strong proficiency with Node.js and Express framework.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL database design, optimization, and query tuning (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server).
  • Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and its patterns in Node.js.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of server security, authentication mechanisms, and best practices.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies.
