Climate Change Recovery Specialist

Our organization is working to address the growing threat of climate change in Pakistan. To achieve this, we are developing and implementing local solutions to development challenges. Our approach involves mainstreaming environmental concerns into national development planning processes and expanding access to environmental and energy services for the poor.
We are seeking a specialist who can support our efforts in responding to climate change. The ideal candidate will have experience in project implementation, communications, and stakeholder engagement. They should be able to develop and implement effective strategies for communicating environmental and climate change-related information to diverse audiences.
Some key responsibilities of the role include:
- Developing and implementing communication plans to raise awareness about climate change and its impacts;
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address climate change-related needs and priorities;
- Serving as a liaison between government agencies, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to facilitate coordination and knowledge sharing on climate change issues;
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and project management skills. They should be able to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances. In addition, they should have a deep understanding of climate change policies and programs, as well as experience in working with governments and civil society organizations.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also provide benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
