We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Sedation Team at Aga Khan University Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing pediatric sedation procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective sedation services to patients, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and minimal complications.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients prior to sedation, identifying potential risks and developing individualized care plans.
- Administer medications safely and accurately, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Counsel and educate patients and their families on sedation-related information and post-procedure care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent qualification.
- At least six months of work experience in pediatric sedation or a related field.
- Valid licensure from the Pakistan Nursing Council.
- Certification in Basic Life Support, ACLS, PALS, NRP provider, Safe Medication Administration, and Intravenous Cannulation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
