Solar Business Development Manager Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to leverage their expertise in solar sales and drive growth for our client's expansion into the community-sized solar market.

As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and developing tailored solar solutions that meet clients' requirements.

  • Identify new business opportunities in the community-sized solar sector and cultivate strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients to understand their energy needs and propose suitable solar solutions.
  • Lead negotiations for purchase power agreements (PPAs) and other relevant contracts to secure long-term revenue streams.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and deliver results-driven outcomes.
Job Requirements:

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • A proven track record of success in solar sales, with specific experience in selling community-sized solar projects and a deep understanding of the industry landscape.
  • A strong grasp of solar technology, financing options, and regulatory requirements.
  • The ability to negotiate complex purchase power agreements and other contracts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build strong relationships with clients.
  • A self-motivated approach with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
