The National Telephone Co-op Assn is looking for a highly skilled Telecom Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing PRTC's telecom infrastructure, including core routers, aggregation switches, data center infrastructure, VoIP networks, security systems, transport networks, and video distribution networks.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical leadership skills, vendor selection expertise, capital budget planning knowledge, and future technology planning abilities. You will also be responsible for providing technical service and support to our Managed Services product line, including designing new customer networks, assisting with research, quotes for new projects, and providing remote and on-site technical support for managed business customers.

To succeed in this role, you must have an associate's degree in computer science or a related field, five or more years of experience in IP network operations, WAN and LAN technologies, and protocols, as well as a current Cisco CCNA certificate or industry equivalents. Additionally, you should have a working knowledge of Ethernet networks, telecom access technologies, carrier Ethernet standards, and wireless technologies.
