Financial Operations Manager Job

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Manager to manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide regular updates on financial performance and address any concerns.
  • This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, provide insights, and support decision-making processes.
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards is a key part of this position.
  • Liaising with external parties, such as auditors and tax authorities, to facilitate smooth audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements is also essential.
  • This individual will identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting department.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment is also required.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountants or ACCA qualified individuals are highly preferred for this role.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role, is required.
  • Proficiency in English communication to engage with the US team and customers is necessary.
  • A good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is essential.
  • This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite is also required.
  • The successful candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work during US business hours is necessary.
