Job Description

The External Sales Ambassador plays a pivotal role in representing NATIONAL TELEPHONE CO-OP ASSN, promoting and selling its services and products to external clients.

Key objectives include establishing strong relationships with prospects through personalized onsite appointments and product demonstrations, thereby fostering a deep understanding of their needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Establish initial contact with potential clients to initiate business discussions
  2. Collaborate with prospects to comprehensively understand their requirements and translate those needs into tailored solutions that meet their demands
  3. Deliver engaging presentations both onsite and online to effectively communicate the value proposition of NATIONAL TELEPHONE CO-OP ASSN's services and products
  4. Work closely with management to develop customized proposals, quotes, and responses to RFP/RFI documents
  5. Effectively convey the features and benefits of solutions, ensuring seamless communication and efficient management of client expectations
  6. Maintain in-depth knowledge of NATIONAL TELEPHONE CO-OP ASSN's comprehensive range of services and products
Qualifications:

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  1. Proven experience in outside sales, with expertise in promoting IT services and products, managed IT services, or IT consulting
  2. A demonstrated track record of successfully managing customer commitment, negotiation, and closing sales processes
  3. Excellent ability to foster and maintain long-term client relationships
  4. Passion for working with customers and external audiences
  5. High energy levels, drive, and strong negotiation skills
