Design Development Specialist


Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Design Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating design plans and developing initial layouts both independently and under the direction of project engineers.

You will also develop single line drawings, basic general arrangement drawings, panel board schedules, and other drawings required for manufacturing, proposals, and customer documentation. Additionally, you will create symbols in AutoCAD Electrical as required for schematics and single line drawings, revise drawings as needed for design changes and as-built customer documentation, and collaborate with other departments within the organization.

A successful candidate will have experience with using AutoCAD Electrical/Mechanical and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering/Diploma. Fresh candidates are also encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work efficiently, and meet deadlines.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering/Diploma
  • Experience with using AutoCAD Electrical/Mechanical

  • Comfortable working to deadlines and holding others to those deadlines
