Sr. Shopify Developer

We are a dynamic company seeking a highly skilled Senior Shopify Developer to work on contractual basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Customize Shopify Stores: Lead the development and customization of Shopify stores, ensuring they are visually appealing and user-friendly.
  • Theme Development: Design and implement custom Shopify themes using Liquid templating language.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize website performance for fast load times and seamless navigation.
  • Responsive Design: Ensure all Shopify stores are mobile-first and responsive.
  • Integration and Maintenance: Integrate third-party apps and APIs, and maintain Shopify stores for smooth operation.
  • Client Communication: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on Shopify best practices.
  • Project Leadership: Scope, architect, and lead complex Shopify development projects.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in Shopify development, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid. Experience with Shopify's API is essential.
  • Design Skills: Excellent eye for design, creating visually appealing interfaces.
  • Freelancing Experience: Proven track record as a freelancer, managing projects independently and delivering high-quality results.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • E-commerce Expertise: In-depth understanding of e-commerce principles for Shopify development.
  • Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Accessibility: Knowledge of web accessibility standards.
