Job Overview
  • This position involves developing and implementing web profiles and ecommerce portals with cutting-edge technologies.

The ideal candidate should possess an in-depth knowledge of the latest industry trends and content management systems, as well as experience in maintaining WordPress security.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Designing and implementing web profiles and ecommerce portals that meet high-performance standards.
  2. Developing and maintaining the website's architecture to ensure seamless user experience.
  3. Ensuring the overall security and maintenance of the CMS.
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to formulate an effective design and convert it into a working theme and plugin.
  5. Implementing robust security measures on WordPress engine and third-party plugins.
Requirements
  • Experience designing and building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
  • Proficiency in designing and developing responsive design websites.
  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working responsive HTML pages.
  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms including BlueHost, DreamHost, Amazon, and deployment of WordPress.
  • Experience working with Payment gateway APIs, both international and local Pakistan based.
  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
  • Knowledge of Laravel, and Codeigniter frameworks is a plus.
Work Environment
  • The candidate will work in a collaborative environment.
  • The candidate will be responsible for owning a working Android or iOS smartphone.
  • The candidate will be experienced in operating cloud tools such as Google Drive, DropBox, Trello, Whatsapp, Google Meet, and Zoom.
  • The candidate will abide by legally binding confidentiality and Intellectual Property agreements.
  • The candidate will be able to commute to our office located in Karachi, DHA Phase VII ext.
