Software Development Lead

We are seeking an accomplished software development lead with substantial experience in global projects. The successful candidate will be based in Islamabad and work remotely full-time, collaborating occasionally through online meetings.

  1. Application Porting and Migration
  • Migrate existing web applications to current industry standards, including design, support, modification, changes, and documentation.
  • Export data from the old application to the new one.
Mobile Application Development
  • Design and develop mobile applications for the web application.
  • Choose a cross-platform or native platform-specific approach.
Technical Documentation
  • Develop detailed software design and document requirements.
  • Conduct System Requirements Analysis (SRA).
Deployment and Maintenance
  • Deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, bugfix, and provide support for web and mobile applications.
Project Coordination
  • Coordinate with higher management.
  • Log project information daily and file reports.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  1. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field.
  2. At least 8 years of experience in software development in a particular technology stack.
  3. 3+ years of experience as a software architect/manager/team lead.
  4. Excellent development and architecture skills with a solid grasp of web development.
  5. Experience in databases, database design, optimization, and ERDs.
  6. Extensive experience developing on a single stack and deployment environment.
  7. Knowledge of object-oriented programming, software development life cycle best practices, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  8. Familiarity with Agile and SCRUM methodologies.

Strong technical documentation skills and a portfolio of live/demoable applications are highly valued.
