Senior Operations Engineer

As a seasoned engineer with significant post-qualification experience in Oil and Gas or the Public Sector, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, Mechatronics, Petroleum, or Electronics, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of natural gas flow measuring equipment across the region.

Candidates with a Master's degree are preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage operations at gas flow measurement stations to minimize downtime.
  • Implement preventive and breakdown maintenance measures to ensure smooth operations.
  • Effectively utilize manpower and material resources to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Calibrate metering instruments at Point of Delivery, Check Metering Station, and Sales Meter Station to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Manage installation and commissioning of new metering installations and/or upgradation of existing setups in the region.
  • Submit field activity/maintenance activity reports by the team.
  • Perform Joint Meter Check activity with the Distribution department in a timely manner for gas volume recorded at Sales Metering Stations.
  • Provide technical guidance to the team and coordinate field activities related to equipment installation, startup, and operation.
  • Monitor data through remote monitoring systems and take corrective measures in a timely manner.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
