Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Taxation Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reinforcing tax compliance and operations within the framework of applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Timely payment management of income tax, FED/Sales tax, and filing of related statements and returns is a crucial aspect of this position.
  • Annual income tax return preparation and refund applications require coordination with external counsel.
  • Responding to tax notices, conducting audits, and managing tax litigations are key responsibilities that require assistance from a qualified individual.
  • Collaboration with the legal department is essential to provide necessary documents and manage appeals.
  • Tax liability booking, accounting, and reporting need to be overseen by a professional in this field.
  • Developing tax-related reports and refining processes are critical tasks that require attention to detail and analytical skills.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a minimum requirement for this role.
  • MBA or part-qualified CA, ICMA, ACCA are preferred qualifications.
  • At least 5 years of telecom-related tax experience is required for this position.
  • Strong knowledge of income tax, FED, Sales Tax, and Provincial Sales Tax on Services laws is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is a must-have skill for this role.
