Job Opportunity

We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong foundation in software design and architecture to join our Islamabad-based engineering team.

  • You will play a pivotal role in building scalable cloud-native platforms and backend services that support 3D data processing, digital twin systems, and smart infrastructure solutions.

  • Key responsibilities include designing and building scalable, production-grade backend services using Python, Golang, Node.js, architecting and implementing systems for ingesting and processing LiDAR, point cloud, geospatial data types, and developing backend components for spatial data pipelines and digital twin platform integrations.

  • Additionally, you'll containerize microservices using Docker, deploy using serverless frameworks (AWS Lambda), optimize performance for large-scale applications using Redis caching, Kafka/RabbitMQ asynchronous processing, configure maintain distributed systems infrastructure with autoscaling fault tolerance on cloud platforms, implement real-time data APIs authentication flows secure data streaming with API Gateway Cognito, enable efficient database interactions using PostgreSQL MySQL read replicas failover strategies, set up logging tracing alerting using tools like CloudWatch ELK stack Prometheus/Grafana, and lead backend testing practices unit integration end-to-end test suites.

  • Collaboration with AI Computer Vision teams is also essential to support 3D object recognition segmentation pipelines at scale.

  • Lastly, you'll establish maintain CI/CD workflows with tools like GitHub Actions Jenkins GitLab CI and participate in Agile ceremonies maintain documentation in Jira Confluence.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A strong foundation in software design and architecture.

  • Expertise in Python, Golang, Node.js, and cloud-native technologies.

  • Experience with containerization using Docker and deployment using serverless frameworks.

  • Familiarity with Redis caching, Kafka/RabbitMQ asynchronous processing, and distributed systems infrastructure.

  • Knowledge of API Gateway Cognito, PostgreSQL MySQL, and logging tracing alerting tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
