We're seeking passionate and experienced QA professionals to support the QA function within their respective squads at Careem. As a QA Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for our products, while actively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and deeply understand functional, technical, and design specifications to deliver accurate testing.
  • Provide reliable testing estimates for project planning and timelines.
  • Facilitate test plan and test case reviews with cross-functional teams to align on test scope and approach.
  • Execute, evaluate, and maintain both manual and automated test cases, clearly documenting and reporting results.
  • Lead and facilitate effective bug triage meetings to prioritize and resolve defects promptly.
  • Participate in root cause analysis to uncover underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Validate and confirm that deliverables meet customer requirements and quality expectations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 0 to 2.5 years of hands-on experience in software testing and QA.
  • ISTQB - CTFL certification preferred.
