Job Summary:

  • Provide leadership in technical areas, including planning and development, projects, and construction.
  • Oversee the conceptualization, engineering design, materials specifications & planning, and governance of integrated project management processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the gas transmission network capacity and configuration meet operational requirements safely and efficiently.
  2. Review network performance continuously and plan new projects accordingly.
  3. Lead the processing of gas sale and purchase agreements safeguarding company interests.
  4. Direct the installation and upgrades of transmission lines and high-pressure distribution lines according to international industry codes and standards.
  5. Organize the construction of field offices, regional offices, stores, residential buildings, and other office buildings.
  6. Review the management and supply of Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) to customers through SSGC pipelines based on annual demand and supply plans.
  7. Direct the planning and operations of LPG Air Mix Plants (AMP) producing Synthetic Natural Gas (SNG) injected into the distribution network.
  8. Implement company vision, culture, and performance standards, ensuring adoption at all levels of the division.
  9. Recruit management personnel for optimal execution of duties within the division.
  10. Act as a mentor for key personnel within the division for capacity enhancement and career growth.
  11. Ensure improvement in skills of key personnel for effective succession planning.
  12. Define structure and execution of strategic initiatives through work plans, data gathering, analysis, and actionable recommendations.
  13. Provide short and long-term strategic recommendations to top management and executives regarding operations improvement, cost control, and capitalizing on opportunities.
  14. Evaluate and recommend strategies, concepts, practices, programs, processes, and measures to be applied across the division.
  15. Establish performance measures determining the effectiveness of implemented policies and identify areas for strategic improvement.
  16. Collaborate with division's executives and stakeholders evaluating overall performance against targets and making necessary adjustments.
  17. Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) measuring performances against and determining the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
  18. Draft regular analysis reports for decision-making purposes.
  19. Collaborate internally with departments and stakeholders to ensure a free flow of ideas and information across the division, leading to overall performance enhancement.
  20. Undertake any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor.
