Map Data Product Leader

As a Map Data Product Leader, you will oversee the ingestion and curation of map data to ensure real-time delivery. You will be responsible for developing and executing a product roadmap for map data analytics and base map management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the ingestion and curation of map data, ensuring real-time delivery.
  • Develop and execute a product roadmap for map data analytics and base map management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate rendering and consistent quality.
  • Monitor performance metrics and deliver actionable insights to optimize data pipelines and rendering processes.
  • Liaise with engineering, analytics, and operations teams to implement map data initiatives.
  • Ensure scalability and robustness of data pipelines handling high volumes of real-time data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in product management or project management, ideally in map data, GIS, or location-based services (7+ years).
  • Strong understanding of map data ingestion, curation, and base map management, including familiarity with real-time data pipelines and rendering techniques.
  • Proficient in using analytics tools to measure and enhance map data quality, with a proven ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable product improvements.
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including hands-on collaboration with specialized groups.
  • Skilled in agile methodologies, roadmap planning, and prioritizing tasks based on strategic impact and available resources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical details in clear, actionable terms for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
