Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Opportunities Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business development and a strong track record of driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with clients through effective communication and negotiation.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery of projects and exceed client expectations.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Articulate company services effectively to potential clients.
- Ensure compliance with Upwork policies and guidelines in bidding processes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Business Opportunities Director or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with the Upwork platform and bidding processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
- Ability to understand clients' needs and tailor proposals accordingly.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
