Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Opportunities Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business development and a strong track record of driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  2. Foster strong relationships with clients through effective communication and negotiation.
  3. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery of projects and exceed client expectations.
  4. Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt strategies accordingly.
  5. Articulate company services effectively to potential clients.
  6. Ensure compliance with Upwork policies and guidelines in bidding processes.

Qualifications and Skills

  1. Proven experience as a Business Opportunities Director or similar role.
  2. Strong knowledge of and experience with the Upwork platform and bidding processes.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
  4. Ability to understand clients' needs and tailor proposals accordingly.
  5. Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  6. Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  7. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  8. High level of organization and time-management skills.
