Job Description

Our organization is seeking a seasoned finance expert to oversee its financial operations. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including financial management, monitoring of accounting systems, and reporting accurate financial results.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial regulations and legislation, as well as experience in spearheading complete finance and accounting functions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, along with excellent communication and leadership abilities.

  • Monitor the day-to-day financial activities within the organization, including cash expenses, payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
  • Contract external services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary.
  • Oversee the entire finance and accounting function, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial management.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a finance role, preferably in an IT company or software house.
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software.
  • Excellent leadership and employee management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
