Key Responsibilities

Serving customers and managing staff are critical to this role. This includes training sales staff, reviewing job results, and maintaining attendance.

CORE FUNCTIONSStaff Management
  • Train and groom sales staff by reviewing orientation to products and sales communication.
  • Review staff job results with the Regional Sales Manager or Operations Manager.
  • Maintain attendance and implement time management for store staff.
  • Develop and implement new product training based on consumer behavior.
Store Management
  • Evaluate competition and current trends by gathering information on style, quality, and prices of competitive merchandise.
  • Attract customers by communicating product USPs and following display suggestions or schedules.
  • Promote sales by demonstrating merchandise and products to customers.
  • Help customers by providing information and answering questions.
  • Maintain an attractive environment and clean store ambiance.
Stock Management
  • Maintain inventory by checking merchandise levels and anticipating customer demand.
  • Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing information for internal audit.
Cash Management
  • Maintain cash counters and process daily deposits.
  • Manage expenses effectively.

The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree or 4 years of Bachelor's degree in Business. Direct experience in retail is preferred, along with knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Customer Service skills.

Requirements
  • Master's degree or 4 years of Bachelor's degree in Business.
  • Direct experience in retail industry (1-2 years for Masters, 2-3 years for Bachelors).
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management.
  • Customer Service and Selling Skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to handle detailed concentration-oriented work while meeting schedules and deadlines.
  • Presentation and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Knowledge of ERPs.
  • Team Working and Team Leading Skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
