Job Title: HR Generalist

We are seeking a skilled and organized professional to manage our Human Resources department.

  • The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Human Resource Management, especially in a software house environment.
About the Role

The HR Generalist will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and distribute contractual and organizational announcements.
  • Provide customer service to employees and serve as a point of contact with benefit vendors and administrators.
  • Set appointments and arrange meetings, maintain calendars for the HR management team, and create holiday calendars.
  • Compile reports and spreadsheets and prepare spreadsheets for various purposes.
Recruitment and Hiring Process
  • Create value vs. cost models for each hiring position and forecast head counts based on company goals.
  • Participate in recruitment efforts, post job ads, organize resumes and job applications, schedule interviews, and assist in the interview process.
  • Collect employment and tax information, ensure background and reference checks are completed, and prepare new employee files.
  • Orient new employees to the organization, administer new employment assessments, and serve as a point person for all new employee questions.
Record Maintenance
  • Maintain current HR files and databases, update and maintain employee benefits, employment status, and similar records.
  • Maintain records related to grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions, and perform file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or HR Management.
  • 5 years of relevant work experience in HR in a reputable organization.
  • Excellent email writing and written/verbal communication skills, strong organization and project management skills.
  • Friendly and personable demeanor, proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
