We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as Director (Public Engagement). In this role, you will be responsible for leading public engagement efforts to enhance outreach and communication with various stakeholders.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and execution of multimedia campaigns to raise awareness about services and initiatives. You will have the chance to collaborate with various stakeholders, including community groups, NGOs, government agencies, and media personnel, to foster effective partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement public engagement strategies to enhance outreach and communication efforts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to foster effective partnerships and promote public awareness.
  • Manage digital platforms, including social media, to engage the public and maintain a positive online presence.
  • Draft press releases, manage media relations, and act as spokesperson to ensure timely and accurate communication.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, or Public Administration from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in public relations, community engagement, media planning, and campaign management at a senior level.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
