This role is ideal for an individual who can drive sales growth through strategic partnerships and customer engagement.

Sales and Business Development

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive/Business Development Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with existing clients, and driving revenue growth.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a proven track record of success in sales and business development, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  1. Checking emails and taking necessary action on incoming communications from local clients and F-Agents.
  2. Making daily sales calls to existing and prospective clients via telephone and personal visits.
  3. Responding to rate enquiries from clients and requesting fresh rates from F-Agents when necessary.
  4. Preparing and submitting quotations to clients based on company guidelines and market conditions.
  5. Following up on quotations until acceptance or rejection.
  6. Coordinating with clients to obtain shipping instructions and passing them on to F-Agents.
  7. Maintaining updated air and sea freight rate registers.
  8. Compiling sales activity reports for submission to senior management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, marketing).
  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in a logistics or supply chain context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
