Job Title:

A key player in our IT infrastructure, the Infrastructure Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless technology operations.

About the Role:
  • Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications for optimal performance.
  • Maintain network security through routine preventative measures and adhere to industry standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors from quote gathering to procurement, streamlining the process.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO standards within organizational frameworks.
  • Support infrastructure teams, including UPS, GenSet, and work environment.
  • Research and sample new tools and technologies as instructed, staying ahead of the curve.
  • Maintain desktops, printers, and scanners, guaranteeing efficient workflow.
  • Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures, minimizing downtime.
  • Exhibit strong troubleshooting skills across operating systems and applications.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Windows Firewall.
  • Familiarity with Linux OS and its various distributions is highly valued.
  • Understanding of virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V.
  • Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure.
  • Proficiency with monitoring tools: Zabbix, Nagios, PRTG.
  • Scripting skills: PowerShell, Python, Bash.
  • Database knowledge: SQL Server, Oracle.
  • Storage technologies: SAN, NAS, cloud storage platforms.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Azure Services, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server.
