Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in advancing our development stack and ensuring scalability as we grow to millions of monthly active users across many countries.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams from the early stages of design through to identifying and resolving production issues, handling the complete software development life cycle.
  • Support a wide range of products focusing on automation, availability, and performance, ensuring reliability and supporting mobile engineers and business intelligence throughout each sprint.
  • Drive innovation and develop elegant solutions for complex problems;
  • Maintain exemplary code following best practices;
  • Gain a detailed understanding of the complete architecture of our product and your position within it;
  • Work in a mentoring capacity within a peer-programming environment, providing guidance on tasks regardless of complexity or scale.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in JavaScript and client-side technologies
  • 4+ years of production-level experience in React
  • Ability to build apps in React
  • Extensive use of state management libraries such as Redux
  • Proficiency in profiling and optimizing React application performance
  • Good understanding of at least one MVC framework
  • Familiarity with build tools like Webpack and package management tools like Yarn & NPM
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Server-Side Rendering using React
