Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Cyber Security Operations Center Director. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Security Operations Center (SOC). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, information technology, or cyber security with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in information security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of SOC operation/analysis
  • Management of SIEM tools and other security monitoring tools and IR platform
  • Development and maintenance of SOAR
  • Writing regular expressions and creating rules and use cases
  • Detailed analysis of security events and alerts using SIEM tools
  • Identification of incidents missed by SOC operators
  • Interactions with external parties to resolve queries relating to raised incidents
  • Management of SIEM incidents knowledge base
  • Generation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Cyber Security/Information Security or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of post-qualification experience in information security
  • Certification in Comptia CySA +, BTL 2 will be preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of TTPs used by attackers
  • Proficiency with SIEM tools and other security monitoring tools and IR platform
