Job Description:

As a key member of the supply chain team, you will play a pivotal role in managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and sourcing goods and services. Your primary objective will be to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of essential items, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

  • Develop and execute strategies for sourcing and delivering goods and services, ensuring optimal pricing and service levels.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors, leveraging their expertise to drive business growth.
  • Prepare comprehensive bid comparisons and evaluate commercial aspects of technical submissions.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings through collaboration with stakeholders and the consolidation of repeated procurements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A 4-year degree in Engineering or an MBA in Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement from a reputable organization.
  • Hands-on experience in ERP systems, preferably Oracle/SAP.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage both local and import purchases effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and excellent analytical skills.
