We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly statements, balance sheets, and profit loss reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly/quarterly statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports.
  • Banking Operations: Manage transactions, reconciliations, and vendor/customer accounts with precision and attention to detail.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure timely filing of returns and adherence to tax laws, staying up-to-date on any changes or updates.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with teams to develop budgets and financial projections, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Audit Coordination: Liaise with external auditors to ensure audit readiness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in accounting workflows and implement process improvements to increase productivity and accuracy.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to GAAP/IFRS and internal policies, maintaining the highest level of integrity and transparency.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Provide support to the CFO/Finance Manager with financial analysis and projects as needed.

Skill Requirements:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent) and/or a relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CA). Alternatively, a Master's degree in Finance (with 2+ years of accounting experience) or a BCom (with 5+ years of accounting experience).
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of banking operations, taxation laws, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero). Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
