Project Director

As a reference point for project management office queries and information, you will advocate best practices in project management. Your role involves facilitating project planning, reviews, demos, and meetings to ensure seamless collaboration.

You will manage enterprise-level resource allocation, making adjustments based on emerging business or technical opportunities and challenges. This includes maintaining processes to ensure project management documentation, reports, and plans are relevant, accurate, and complete.

In this position, you will provide direction and support to the project team to adhere to quality standards during project implementation. You will also manage the fields team regarding adherence to project activities.

Maintaining and updating the project management framework and disciplines necessary to support a project management office is crucial. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with all departments to provide support, including facilitation, tracking, reporting on projects, and training.

To excel in this role, you must have expertise in Microsoft tools such as MS Project, Project Server, and MS Office. Understanding the software development lifecycle and being highly motivated with excellent organizational skills are essential.

The ideal candidate should be able to grasp complex software and learn quickly. Additionally, they should possess detail-oriented skills and be able to understand technical issues at a high level.

Job Requirements
  • Software Development Lifecycle: Understanding of the software development lifecycle is mandatory.
  • Microsoft Tools: Expertise in Microsoft tools such as MS Project, Project Server, and MS Office.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to understand technical issues at a high level.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
