Research Assistant Position

This is a research position available for a motivated and highly skilled candidate. The selected individual will work under the supervision of Dr. Ghulam Mustafa, an experienced researcher in the field of biochemistry.

The primary role of the Research Assistant is to assist in conducting research projects focused on understanding the therapeutics role and molecular determinants of GDF11 regulated liver fibrosis. This involves collecting and analyzing data, designing experiments, and presenting results. The ideal candidate should have excellent laboratory skills, be proficient in relevant software and equipment, and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have enrolled in MPhil Biochemistry and have relevant experience working in a research environment. Excellent communication skills are also essential, as you will be required to present your findings to colleagues and supervisors.

The contract duration is one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and availability of funds. A monthly stipend of 26,400/- will be provided, and relocation assistance may be offered. You will be expected to relocate to Faisalabad to work at the Department of Biochemistry, Government College University.
