The Procurement Specialist plays a crucial role in the company's manufacturing process, ensuring that all materials and components are sourced at the most affordable prices.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Costing of BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and tenders for HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting.
  • Order placement timing and supply/demand alignment to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitoring supplier performance and continuously improving it.
  • Sourcing materials and controlling purchasing budgets.
  • Completing IPCs (Inspection and Physical Check) of BOQs for material evaluation.
  • Maintaining adequate supplies of materials, components, and equipment.
  • Delivering cost savings for the company.
  • Managing procurement supplier relationships.
  • Helping source alternative items for buyers and customers.
  • Negotiating prices with suppliers.
  • Resolving disputes and claims with vendors and suppliers.
  • Developing relationships with distributors.
  • Processing payments and invoices.
  • Verifying order quantities and details.
