Cloud Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join a high-priority project focused on optimizing cloud infrastructure, automating data pipelines, and enhancing security compliance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in cloud services, data pipeline automation, and compliance best practices, enabling them to deliver impactful results in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize cloud-based ETL/data pipelines using services such as AWS Glue, Step Functions, S3, and RDS.
  • Review and enhance cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to align deliverables with project goals.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows to ensure reliability and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on experience with AWS services, including but not limited to: AWS Glue, Step Functions, S3, RDS, IAM, Secrets Manager.
  • Must have experience with Pyspark, Python, and SQL.
  • Strong background in building, automating, and optimizing ETL/data pipelines in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements in regulated data environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across technical and business functions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
