Procurement Assistant

We are looking for a skilled Procurement Assistant to join our team in Lahore. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and processing purchase orders, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:- To receive the purchase order from the factory and record it into the procurement register.
- To check the order against the list of approved vendors and prepare the necessary documentation.
- To ensure proper delivery of the purchase order to the vendor through mail or fax.
- To monitor the receipt of goods from the vendors according to the schedule.
- To check the material provided by the vendors and dispatch to the factory where applicable.
- To update the procurement register according to the Goods Received Inspection Report (GRIR) received from the factory.
- In case of general procurement, to purchase the item on cash from the morale and send to the factory.
- To assist the procurement manager in re-evaluation of vendors and preparation of the Vendor Re-assessment Form (VRF).
- To note the particulars of the indent in the import procurement register for important materials.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and procedures.
