Job Opportunity: Quality Assurance Professional

A leading organization in the solar energy sector seeks a skilled Quality Assurance professional to oversee quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Familiarize yourself with technical specifications and documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  2. Perform thorough inspections on work completed within the scope of assigned tasks.
  3. Inspect equipment and materials for quality and document results accordingly.
  4. Review inspection findings with site management to assign corrective actions for non-conforming work.
  5. Accurately document audit results, inspections, and tests.
  6. Report inspection outcomes to the site management team.
  7. Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for issues related to vendor non-conformance or workmanship.
  8. Ensure documentation meets project specifications and assists in assembling quality job books.
  9. Collaborate with the site management team to complete inspections and gather necessary documentation.
  10. Track inspection progress and provide routine reports on project quality status and metrics to leadership.
  11. Adhere to Safety and Environmental Protocols and report potentially hazardous conditions.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Prior experience in Quality Assurance audits for industrial/mechanical construction projects.
  2. Preferred experience in Wind/Solar or Renewable Energy Industry Quality Assurance audits.
  3. Demonstrated ability to inspect requirements in at least one discipline (electrical, etc).
  4. General construction knowledge.
  5. Safety and Environmental concepts understanding.
  6. Office software skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  7. Effective communication and relationship building skills.
  8. Strong time management and reporting capabilities.
  9. Maintaining accurate records.
