Job Descriptions/ Requirements:

  1. Familiar with and understands how to read design drawings, specifications, installation guides, standard work instructions, benchmarks and inspection and test plans and forms to be used to during the inspection process.
  2. Performs 100% inspections on work completed within the scope of work assigned.
  3. Inspects applicable equipment and materials for quality.
  4. Documents completed inspections appropriately and reviews with site management team to assign corrective actions for work that does not meet specifications, contract requirements or installation guides.
  5. Accurately documents the results of audits, inspections, and tests.
  6. Reports results of all inspections to the site management team.
  7. May initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Observations for issues of vendor non-conformance, workmanship that are reported for review and tracking.
  8. Reviews documentation to assure contents meet project specifications.
  9. Assists in assembling quality job books.
  10. Assists the site management team in completing inspections.
  11. Ensures that the appropriate documentation is gathered and recorded.
  12. Assists with tracking inspection.
  13. Provides routine reports on project quality status and metrics to Project and Corporate Leadership.
  14. Follows all Safety and Environmental Protocols and reports potentially unsafe conditions.
  15. Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
  16. Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.
Job Specification

More Qualification required:

  1. Proven industrial experience performing Quality Assurance/Quality Control audits to complete the installation of large industrial/mechanical construction projects.
  2. Preferred Quality Assurance/Quality Control audit experience within the Wind/Solar or Renewable Energy Industry.
  3. Demonstrated ability in inspection requirements in at least one discipline (electrical, etc).
  4. General construction.
  5. Safety and Environmental concepts.
  6. Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  7. Communication skills.
  8. Relationship building.
  9. Time management.
  10. Report writing.
  11. Maintaining accurate records.
