Software Developer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled software developer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and responsive web applications, optimizing sites for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring website functionality and stability across devices, conducting analysis of website and application requirements, developing back-end portals with an optimized database, troubleshooting application and code issues, finalizing back-end features and testing web applications, and updating and altering application features to enhance performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Designing and developing scalable and efficient web applications using PHP frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter.
  2. Ensuring the optimization of search engine ranking through good understanding of SEO principles.
  3. Working effectively in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  4. Developing back-end portals with an optimized database.
  5. Troubleshooting application and code issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 3+ years of experience in the software industry.
  • Strong command of PHP frameworks.
  • Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
  • Previous experience creating scalable applications.
  • Proficient with code versioning tools.
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of APIs.
  • Understanding of responsive design frameworks such as Bootstrap.
  • Ability to manage projects individually.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based services such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices.
