Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely collection of debts, tracking outstanding payments, and following up on overdue invoices.

About the Job

  1. Credit Control: Keeping track of outstanding payments, following up on overdue invoices, and ensuring timely collection of debts.
  2. Debt Collection Coordination: Collaborating with debt collection agencies to recover payments.
  3. Financial Operations Support: Assisting the Business Development (BD) Accountant in their day-to-day tasks related to the financial aspects of business development activities.
  4. Financial Reporting: Creating and managing financial statements and dashboards.
  5. Tax Compliance: Preparing and filing necessary tax and financial forms for the company.
  6. Audit Support: Supporting the completion of audits with attention to detail and quality.
  7. Process Optimization: Learning and applying best practices and optimizations in accounting processes.
  8. Collaboration: Collaborating with finance personnel to develop methods for creating more accurate financial records and models.
  9. Audit Management: Managing audits on behalf of the company.
  10. Filing Schedule: Determining the proper company filing schedule based on available information.
  11. Quality Assurance: Assisting in quality assurance by reviewing audit reports and filings for errors.
  12. Implementation: Implementing feedback and changes under supervision.
  13. Visualization: Creating visualizations that convey accurate financial views of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing financial records and statements.
  • Participate in audit processes to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Develop and implement process improvements in accounting procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounts & Finance.
  • Proven experience in credit control and financial operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
