Job Title: Construction Cost Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Cost Manager to oversee the financial aspects of our construction projects.

About the Role:

  • Preliminary cost advice and elemental cost planning for all project stages.
  • Develop procurement strategies and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Conduct detailed cost planning and control, ensuring accurate budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Prepare tender documentation and manage the tender process to secure optimal prices.
  • Administer contracts, handle cost control during construction, and facilitate final account settlements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (RICS or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a strong background in cost management and contract administration.
  • Proficiency in estimation software packages such as CostX, Bluebeam, or PlanSwift.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
