Pchotels seeks a highly motivated and experienced Disaster Risk Reduction Coordinator to join our team in Jaffarabad & Naseerabad District, Balochistan.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating disaster risk reduction activities, working closely with government counterparts, contractors, and local actors.

The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in an independent capacity and as a member of a team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate disaster risk reduction activities, including conducting community-level mock exercises on early warning systems, safe evacuation, First aid, and search and rescue training.
  • Work closely with government counterparts, contractors, and local actors to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve community resilience to climate-related disasters.
  • Document results and lessons learned from WASH program implementation to promote knowledge sharing with counterparts.
